About this Course

Choosing to study our NCFE Level 2 Equality and Diversity course can provide staff members with the opportunity to build a solid foundation of knowledge that can make a real difference to the dynamic of their workspace.

By helping you to recognise the responsibilities held by each person/organisation – when dealing with equality and diversity – you will be able to take these insights, and use them to dissolve existing barriers of participation within society.

At the same time, you will be able to transform the way you engage and interact with others; as you’ll have a thorough theoretical knowledge of all equality laws, legislations and how workplaces should implement them.

In many ways, this course can be used to aid your personal development, as it can easily fit around your existing work commitments and help you to achieve a healthy work-study balance.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be awarded a NCFE certificate of achievement. All certification fees are included within the course fee.

Method

This course is studied on paper based which means that all of the lessons and materials are sent to you through the post. You can then contact your tutor and send in your assignments through email or in the post. 

Qualification

At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Level 2 NCFE CACHE Certificate of Achievement. This means the course has been independently accredited at a level of learning that is equivalent to Level 2 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

In addition, this means that this learning programme has undergone extensive reviews and examinations; has been approved by an independent panel of experienced educational professionals, and is quality audited biannually by the NCFE.

NCFE is nationally recognised as an awarding body by the qualification regulators (‘regulators’) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The regulators are the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) in England, the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) in Wales and the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) in Northern Ireland.

Course Content

This course assesses the following three modules:

  • Module 1: Equality and diversity in the society (6 credits)
  • Module 2: Equality and diversity in the community (6 credits)
  • Module 3: Equality and diversity in the workplace (6 credits)

This course can be completed over a 12 month period; however thanks to the structure of our courses you can study when, where and how you want, and on your own terms.

What entry requirements are there for this course?

There are no entry requirements for this course at all. Anyone can study for this certification and there is no need to have any prior knowledge or experience.

How long do I have to study?

This Equality and Diversity course has an enrolment length of 12 months included from the date you enrol. This is plenty of time to complete the assignments but you can purchase additional time for £60 per month should you need longer to finish the assignments.

Do I have to sit an exam?

No, there are no exams on this course. Everything is assessed through coursework which you can submit at any time within the enrolment length.

Am I assigned a tutor for this course?
